“Fisker has released the first picture of its upcoming four-door plug-in hybrid premium sports sedan that will make its official debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January. Fisker will start selling the car in the 4th quarter of 2009 with an annual production projected for 15,000.
The car doesn’t have a name yet, but as you can see from the picture above it will be based on the new Maserati GranTurismo. Fisker says that the car can do 50 miles alone on pure electric charge. The Fisker four-door hybrid will come in a gasoline or diesel variant delivering more than 620 miles. According to Fisker, the car will also get an amazing 100 mpg.
Pricing for the four-door Fisker hybrid will start at $80,000. It’s sexy, it should be fast and it’s fuel-efficient. Love it.” - BMWBoard.com
